Kitchen Cookery Salt and Pepper Grinder Review #kitchencookerysaltnpeppergrinder

I have a confession, well two confessions. I LOOOOVE pink sea salt. I'll eat the stuff by itself like a little kid. I have no shame. Check out the differences between it and table salt and you'll  understand why. Confession number two. I ran out of it and i haven't had a chance to order more off of amazon yet so you won't see any salt in these pictures.

Raise your hand if you hate chunky pepper *raises hand and hops up and down*. I hate it there is nothing worse than getting an only partially ground peppercorn in your mouth. It burns us! Bonus points if you know where that line is from! Well that's what my old grinder has been doing. It had to go. Enter these awesome grinders.

These babies are HUGE! Not to big to hold but I think that my old grinder held like 2 tablespoons tops. I hated having to refill it all the time. You never knew when it was coming. It would just suddenly run out. Extremely frustrating. This probably holds at least a 1/3-1/2 cups i would say. But I forgot to measure.

They also grind up the peppercorns very fine. *Choir of angels singing* I can now safely season my food like I love it. And i'm picky with food. I like it how I like it and nothing else is acceptable.

And you don't have to grind and grind and grind forever until your food gets cold. These put out a good amount at one time!

One thing that I really like is that they sit upright and have a lid.

How awesome is that? Of course you'll have to excuse this picture. this is an example of what happens when your little girly wakes up from her nap and you are trying to pictures. Little hands and finger prints end up on everything. They won't come in the mail with those sweet little finger prints on them.

One other thing I like about these is they are glass rather than plastic. The grinder itself is plastic but the top is stainless steel.

On a scale of 1-10 of how much I like these i'd give them a 10! I seriously suggest replacing yours with this today!

I received these grinders free to review. All opinions in this post are in fact my own. I really do love these and i would recommend them.

Digital Kitchen Timer by #kitchenen

I love to cook. I really love to bake. I have a really bad memory though. Seriously my husband has been on me to buy a kitchen timer for years and my memory is so bad I forget to buy one every time I'm at the store. I have always just kept an eye on stuff and hoped for the best. With some thing this just doesn't work. Especially when your oven temperature isn't correct like ours is. Bread goes from golden to rock hard in a snap. So you can imagine I jumped all over the opportunity to review this one.

I really like that it comes with two timers also. I have kids. They are little bundles of energy and they aren't going to agree to stay near the kitchen. I leave the big one in the kitchen and slip the little one in my pocket. Perfect!! I can work on the computer we can watch movies. We can do whatever we need and I'm within ear shot of the timer. When my husband is home I can even go outside if I want to. Ahh freedom. A mom of littles can dream of freedom right? Every little victory counts! I really do love my girls but they are redheads a count as more than one handful each.

These are very simple and straight forward to set. You just set the minutes and seconds and hit start. The numbers are large and easy to see and read. These are just all around great timers. Much better than a cheap dinky egg timer. I mainly say that because I have always hated those things. Maybe that's why I procrastinated getting one so bad. That's it, it was psychological!

Ok here's one last thing. This is one of my favorite parts. I have an itty bitty counter. Itty bitty counters tend to get crowded and things get lost easily. Ready for my favorite part?

The large timer is a magnet!! Ok so maybe I'm a little too excited about it but little hands can't reach it!

I received this product free to review but if you want to purchase this awesome timer here is the link on Amazon.

All opinions are my own.
